I love creating itineraries every year and this year is the best yet! Six weeks in May and June in Southeastern England, Lake Como and Venice in northern Italy, and finally, our favorite place in the world, Ireland.
Flights: $500 each RT, NS, SFO to London British Airways,
a week in a cottage at Broome Park Manor near Canterbury (free golf!), only $600;
Five nights at the JW Marriott Venice private island free, using points!! (will she get upgraded? Stay tuned!)
and a week at a VRBO on Lake Como 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, on the lake, Five lakeview balconies... ?????äó?ÇÜ, walking distance to ferries and water taxis, walking distance to great restaurants and villages, short drive to Villa D'Este and George (!), 8 golf courses for my husband to enjoy, castles and gardens for ME and Bellagio to explore;
and two weeks in Ireland at Castle Kilkea, Mount Juliet Marriott manor resort, Carton House in Kildare, Portmarnock north of Dublin, and my favorite, a two bedroom spacious cottage in the gardens of Ashford Castle near Galway, $700 for a week: Castles, gardens and golf=BLISS for us!! Luckily we can rent a car in each country and explore on our own...it's not for the timid though. Love to share, questions welcome! Cheers!
